If you want to be a part of a church that makes a difference right here, at home, in New Albany … you’re going to love NAUMC. Our La Misión Hispanic ministry provides food, clothing, and aid to people in need. The Biscuits and Blessings crew serves free sausage biscuits and coffee to anyone who wants them every Wednesday morning. Want opportunities to tutor kids, help with youth programs, help at a nursing home, or support local soccer teams? Come volunteer with us.

Our members have the freedom to hold a range of ideas and beliefs … while still working and worshipping together as a United Methodist Church. Because we trust God’s grace, we don’t have to “have it all figured out.” We ask tough questions. We experiment with the music and structure of our worship services. We learn and grow together. And we do all this in a loving, supportive environment where you can be who you really are … and say what you really think.

NAUMC is a spiritual community for all kinds of people. You’ll see young couples just getting started … mid-life adults with kids in and out of college … and elderly folks with amazing stories of faith. You’ll meet people who speak English … and Spanish … and even Portuguese. At our services, you’ll find people who are White, Black, Brown, straight, LBGTQ+, married, and divorced. We have members living with physical challenges and a few struggling with addictions. Because this is God’s church, everyone’s welcome — including you.

We’re a small church, together since 2023. In a lot of ways? We’re still just getting started.

That said: at NAUMC, you won’t be “just another face in the crowd.” When we have visitors, we notice! When we meet you, our greetings are warm and genuine. When you’re not here … we look for you … and check on you … because here, everyone really matters.

Follow us on Facebook. In addition to news (like when our Hispanic members are selling delicious tacos … or when we’re hosting special community events like free health fairs), we broadcast our 11 a.m. English and 12:15 p.m. Spanish services live!

Drop in! Our Sunday services include a Sunday School at 10:00 a.m., an English-language service at 11:00 a.m., and a Spanish language service at 12:15 p.m. All of these meet at 104 N. Glenfield Road right here in New Albany.
